Navigate Scenario for Organizational Behaviorselected product title

This collection of four interactive video case studies provides students with a realistic, immersive learning experience that reinforces lessons gathered from a collection of best-selling Jones & Bartlett Learning Organizational Behavior textbooks.

Through immersive technology and instructional design, the Navigate Scenario for Health Care Organizational Behavior creates an environment in which the student assumes the role of a newly promoted manager at a software company. In this new position, effectively handling office politics will play an important role in your success.

In each episode, the student will progress through a series of different settings and character interactions that will teach them about key concepts in Organizational Behavior. The student will analyze information, make decisions, and see the impact of their participation in real time.

At the end of each episode, instructor's can assess students engagement with four, 10-question multiple choice quizzes (one for each episode). Note: All assessments and assignments are provided in a secure, instructor-only package and can be assigned at the instructor's discretion.

Episode 1: Behavior Influences

As a new manager, one of your initial challenges involves motivating a new employee who has good credentials but clashes with other team members. Your mentor Warren provides helpful guidance and suggestions such as investigating the Myers-Briggs website.

Episode 2: Group Development

In an attempt to improve team dynamics, you take your team on an "Onward Bound" team-building retreat. Though you encounter challenges, good learning takes place.

Episode 3: Teams and Team Building

You are asked to join an XYZ Software committee studying the effectiveness of virtual teams. Now under the microscope, you must find a way to motivate your team to collaborate effectively using virtual meetings.

Episode 4: Leadership

Thanks to your leadership, the team finally starts coming together. Meetings with your mentor Warren and your Uncle Monty highlight stark contrasts in leadership approaches.
