Biostatistics is an online course which covers concepts around descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Topics in this course include exploratory data analysis, central tendency, variability, score standardization, and the logic of hypothesis testing. Additionally, Biostatistics also covers intermediate statistical concepts including analysis of variance (ANOVA) with planned comparisons and post-hoc tests, factorial ANOVA, bivariate linear correlation and regression, the chi-square tests for goodness of fit and association, the Mann-Whitney U test, and the essentials of sample size estimation.
